Asian Car Care Limited

INssan automotive creates Asian Car Care Limited...
a natural progression.

Asian automobiles. An emerging Power.

The world is changing. For better or for worse, it is changing. So too is the automotive industry. Once dominated in America by the ‘Big 3’ located in Detroit, Michigan, at last count there were 26 automotive manufacturers in the world with over 250,000,000 automobiles in use in the United States alone. Not only is the world becoming a smaller place, global markets are facilitating trade between countries at a rate little imagined not too long ago. As a result, imports of foreign nameplate cars are accelerating to the point where of the 50 top selling cars in America in 2011, 25 of them are Asian. It is proper to say foreign “nameplate” rather than foreign “made” as was previously acceptable to say, when one considers the manufacturing footprint companies such as Nissan and Toyota now have inside the U.S. employing U.S. citizens. Many of the Asian cars may be “foreign” but many are “made” in the USA.

Asian cars are unique with technology unfamiliar to technicians with a history of working on American or European cars. However, though there are certain differences, technicians familiar with Asian cars are often surprised at the similarities that exist under the hood. Likewise, many of the component sub-contractors used by the Asian automotive industry are the same such as Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Japan Electronic Control Systems, etc.

INssan automotive opened it’s doors in June of 2005 as the professional service alternative for owners of INFINITI and Nissan automobiles. We are and will remain specialists. However after six years of being in business we are expanding our repertoire to include all Asian automobiles in our servicing line up. Owing to the shared technology and availability of resources as well as INssan automotive’s commitment to the best equipment, our self-imposed limitation to INFINITI and Nissan is now lifted as we began to reach out to owners of Lexus, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Honda, and virtually all Asian cars on the road in middle Tennessee. The world is changing... and so are we.

Hunter Engineering. Good enough for the
GT-R, right for INssan automotive.

The Nissan R35 GT-R
The Nissan R35 GT-R

Nissan’s most expensive vehicle on the road is the famed R35 GT-R. Not just any dealer can sell this vehicle. Nissan has strict regulations and a long list of required equipment a dealer must possess before that dealer is authorized to sell the $84,000 plus machine. One of the pieces of equipment is a work of engineering art in its own right and likewise quite a capital investment. The Hunter R811 series console with DSP600 series sensors is recommended and validated by Nissan’s Techmate program as required equipment to service the GT-R.

The Hunter Alignment System

However, though Hunter is exclusively recommended by the Nissan Techmate Program, Hunter doesn’t build their alignment system with only Nissan in mind. Hunter’s state-of-the-art system has the alignment specs loaded from the factory to perform a professional alignment on virtually any vehicle rolling on the road.

Armed with the technology sufficient to meet the requirements of the GT-R, INssan automotive has the capability to provide the most professional of alignment operations to Lexus, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Honda, Suzuki, and any other leading make of Asian automobile on U.S. roads today.

From common traits to shared technology. Different than others, but similar among the species.

Wheel Bearing
This same wheel bearing is used by five major Japanese manufactures.

After all, Japan is an island.

According to Encyclopedia Geographical data, Japan is an island nation that has a land area of 145,925 square miles. When compared to other island nations such as Great Britain with just over 94,000 square miles in land mass, Japan is fairly large. However, when compared to a country like the United States of America, 3,794,101 square miles in total, you quickly learn two things... Japan is not so big and, we’re Enormous!

Situated along the Asian Pacific Rim, Japan, the Land of the Rising Sun, is a beautiful country with a largely mountainous terrain. Almost 75% of the country is forested which results in highly dense population centers along Japan’s coastal region.

However, despite their relatively small geographic size as a nation, six of the top 10 largest automobile manufactures are located in Japan. The complete range of Japanese produced vehicles include Toyota, Lexus, Hino, Daihatsu, Honda, Acura, Nissan, INFINITI, Suzuki, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, and Isuzu.

With a restricted land area, Japan’s automotive industry is supported among the various Makes by many of the same sub-contractors. Mitsubishi, Hitachi, JECS, Denso, NTN are just some of the industrial giants that produce common parts used by the various automobile manufacturers.

As an independent service center, INssan automotive benefits from the commonality of Asian imports allowing us to broaden our field of service to more customers. So, whether you drive a Nissan or Toyota, a Suzuki or Lexus, INssan automotive is your professional service alternative for owners of Asian import automobiles.
